English, but the preferred language can be agreed with the mentee. We encourage you to focus and stick to the English language, because it is the main one in the IT world.

Sure, but please evaluate your availability as this commitment will be for 6 months. If you’re in the program for the first time, we would suggest to choose with one type (we are open to suggest you the best one taking into account your experience and availability).

Yes, in October 2023, we will conduct an onboarding month for both new and existing mentors. By November 2023, you will be ready to be matched with potential mentees. Throughout the program, we will schedule regular sessions and provide continuous support.

Practice Projects mentors who lead the newly formed team on their path to project delivery, share their best practices for effective project teamwork – help establish clear roles and responsibilities, frameworks for communication and work methods and are ready to devote an average 2-5 hours per week.

An expert in the team is an independent professional in his field in a certain tech track, who from time to time gets involved in the team’s work, to support project teams in issues that fall under their subject matter expertise.

First step – mentors meet the projects during the onboarding phase, projects are adjusted by mentors if necessary, mentors choose their project as a project team lead.

Second step – after the matchmaking phase (when the mentee has had a match with the mentor 1:1),  mentees will be added to the teams made by the RTG team and support of project team mentors.

Yes, participation in the practice projects is a crucial part of the program as you will be learning through the practice.

  • At the beginning of the mentorship relationship, both the mentor and the mentee should clarify their goals, expectations, and what they hope to achieve through the mentorship. This might involve discussing the specific areas of growth, skills and mentees experience.
  • Meetings should have a clear agenda. Mentees should come prepared with questions, topics they’d like to discuss, or challenges they’re facing. The mentor might also provide guidance, share resources, and suggest actionable steps for the mentee to take between meetings.
  • Feedback and Reflection: Regular feedback sessions help the mentee understand their progress and areas for improvement. Reflection on achievements and challenges can be beneficial for setting future goals.
  • How frequently should I expect to have meetings with my mentor?

The frequency of mentor-mentee meetings can vary. Some mentorships involve  regular weekly or bi-weekly meetings, while others might meet less frequently, such as once a month. The schedule should be agreed based on the availability of both the mentor and the mentee.

  • Can I work full time while in the program?
Absolutely, the program is designed to accommodate both full-time jobs and     studies. However, please keep in mind that dedicating time and effort is essential. Remember, you’ll have:
    • monthly or weekly  sessions with a mento,
    • monthly meetups lasting,
    • practice projects,
    • additional events to attend.
