- build a local network of fellow learners, mentors, and recruiters
- develop the soft skills needed to support a successful career transition
Deadline 31.07.2026
Short Description
Program duration: August 2026 – August 2027
Price: FREE
Application period: open
Language: English
Application criteria: No previous IT-related work or study experience is required. Applicants should be motivated to transition into IT and ready to work hard and study independently.
Course structure: The program combines hybrid learning, including independent study, virtual contact hours, and practical assignments related to AI, totaling approximately 150 hours. It also includes soft skills webinars and a mandatory internship (or further studies in IT) at the end of the course.
What to expect as a learner?
SheCanAI combines practical AI training, independent learning, group work, and career support. The program is designed to help participants understand how AI can be used in real organisations and how to take the first steps towards AI-related roles.
During the AI training phase, participants will learn the fundamentals of generative AI and large language models, explore tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, and Gemini, and set up their own AI assistant to support learning. The course covers responsible AI use, ethics, data protection, and the limitations of AI tools. Participants will learn prompt engineering, working with company-specific data, model customisation, risk management, data security, bias mitigation, and change management.
A strong focus is placed on practical implementation. Participants will learn how to identify work processes that could benefit from AI, map workflows, and evaluate where automation can create real value. They will test AI agents and build simple prototypes for tasks such as customer service, HR onboarding, document handling, finance reporting, and data analysis using low-code/no-code tools and selected Python libraries.
Each participant will complete a capstone project: an AI implementation plan for a chosen organisational process. This includes automation steps, success indicators, and an analysis of possible risks and mitigation strategies.
The final part of the program focuses on career and placement support. Participants will work on their CVs and LinkedIn profiles, use AI tools to support job search and interview preparation, and receive guidance in identifying suitable roles in AI and ICT. The program also includes inspirational meetings with women who have transitioned into ICT careers, as well as sessions with employers to introduce possible roles, internships, and recruitment pathways.
The AI Trainer
The programme will be delivered by PragmatiqAI, an Estonian AI implementation company that helps organisations turn AI potential into measurable business results through expert training, strategic consulting, and hands-on implementation. PragmatiqAI has trained more than 1,500 people over the past years and worked with over 30 enterprise clients, including Luminor, Telia, Verston, and the Estonian Environment Agency.
The programme is designed by Andres Gavriljuk, founder of PragmatiqAI and author of “The AI Transformation”, who has more than 12 years of experience in business process automation, and work with the public, banking, and logistics sectors. Andres was also involved in founding Cerebrum Hub, a testing-focused reskilling programme in Estonia, giving the team practical insight into how to support adult learners in moving into new technology-related roles.
In addition to Andres, the PragmatiqAI team of trainers brings relevant experience in relation to AI implementation in organizations:
- Mattias Arro – AI/ML Architect and Machine Learning Engineer with deep expertise in AI agents, RAG systems, automation workflows, and production-ready AI solutions. He brings extensive experience in building complex AI systems for enterprise and international clients.
- Meri-Kris Jaama – Data and AI strategy expert with strong experience in personalisation, recommender systems, GenAI products, and AI solutions in education. Her strength is combining technical AI expertise with product strategy and practical implementation.
- Raimond Makara – AI-focused entrepreneur and operations executive with experience in workflow automation, SaaS development, logistics, retail, and process optimisation. His expertise lies in applying AI to improve organisational efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen operational performance.
- Henri Nõmm – Practical trainer and content production expert with over 13 years of experience in video, media, and communication. He supports participants in using AI tools for communication, content creation, and practical workplace workflows.
According to Andres, “The SheCanAI training will be highly practical. It will not focus only on basic AI skills, but will guide participants towards building more advanced agentic AI systems within organisations, with a focus on practical implementation, process improvement, and cost efficiency. At the same time, previous AI experience is not a requirement: the programme includes an introductory module at the beginning to help participants align their knowledge and build the necessary foundations.
The programme is designed to be flexible and can be completed regardless of location. Most of the learning materials are self-paced, complemented by weekly virtual sessions that support participants’ progress, answer questions, and help develop practical implementation skills.”
Criteria for candidates
The program accepts applications from candidates, who have:
- strong desire and motivation to start a career in ICT
- ability to dedicate approximately 8-12 hours per week for studies
- basic IT skills (to search for information in web, use ready made applications, etc)
- a level of English that enables studying in English
- a previous specialization in some other field or at least 3 years of working experience after high-school
How to apply?
The first step is to complete the online application form in Google Forms.
Based on the applications, we will select suitable candidates and invite them to take part in online info sessions.
The second step includes participating in two online info sessions and completing a short homework task between them. During the sessions, you will learn more about the course structure, key milestones, schedule, expectations, and next steps.
